Peru is an amazingly handsome, extravagant PSG dressage gelding in his prime and completely sound with many years ahead of him and also with such good looks he would blitz it in the show ring! Throughout his career he has competed at many competitions with scores into the high 60s. His dam, Purioso, has had five approved sons with the KWPN and almost half of his studbook mares receive the ‘ster’ prefix. No less than five horses by Purioso competed at the Barcelona Olympics, his best known offspring being Olympic Wendela and Olympic Cocktail. On the dam line, Bold Love traces back to Nasrullah, bringing performance bloodlines to both sides to create Peru. Peru started PSG in 2013 and is doing all the Inter I and II movements and is offering a little passage and piaffe. Peru is currently graded medium, which makes him the perfect horse for someone to learn all the moves and have fun without the pressures of having to compete at FEI level. Peru is very regrettably offered for sale. He is genuine, sound and a pleasure to have in the stables, being easy to handle in every way.
